Pot plants were used for table decorations and one excellent idea appears to have been a shelf below the table top, with an aperture in the table itself above, through which the plants only appear, the pots being hidden below; an idea which could be copied today particularly for a loggia or garden table. Monkshood, mountain ash and blue violet-Danger is near. Be prudent being faithful and so on.!
